We are seeking an experienced and qualified Sonographer to join our insourcing team, delivering high-quality ultrasound services across Obstetrics, Gynaecology, and General imaging. Working within an NHS Trust setting, you will support efforts to reduce patient waiting times by performing timely and accurate diagnostic scans in line with departmental protocols and national standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a range of ultrasound examinations including Obstetric (1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester), Gynaecological, and General abdominal scans.
• Accurately report and document findings using the Trust’s reporting systems.
• Work collaboratively with clinical and administrative teams to ensure smooth patient flow and excellent care.
• Maintain compliance with clinical governance, infection control, and health & safety policies.
• Ensure high standards of patient communication, dignity, and professionalism at all times.

Requirements:

• HCPC registration.
• Postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound.
• Proven experience in Obstetric, Gynae, and General ultrasound scanning.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
