Communication was fast and easily accessible. They were able to offer an array of services every step of the pathway and have a vast team of clinicians behind them to meet the needs of the service. There were no additional costs, and they successfully cleared 205 surgical patients during the project. This made a significant impact on the waiting list, and they were able to clear all 7 week breaches within a short period of time before our April Deadline.
We were struggling with capacity and unexpectedly had a large amount of long waiter patients who needed seeing as a matter of priority. We were unable to manage the additional capacity within our own workforce. LCI were flexible with what they were able to offer and had the staff availability at very short notice. Any queries or changes suggested following a clinic were acted on before the next clinic and had positive effects. Communication was easy and staff always very helpful and polite. Staff provided were appropriately qualified and completed the clinics as required. Long waiters have reduced considerably, and we have exceeded our predicted plan.
