Support Worker
Weekend Support Worker – Complex Care
We are recruiting a male and female support workers for a weekend 2:1 package supporting a very friendly 31-year-old gentleman with a brain injury in Middlesbrough.
This is a rewarding person-centred role where you’ll make a real difference in someone’s daily life.
We are looking for:
Weekend care support (days & nights)
Supporting mobility and daily routines
Assisting with communication and emotional wellbeing needs
High attention to detail and following a care environment
Promoting independence and dignity at all times
Requirements:
Due to his brain injury, clear communication is essential — you must have a very good understanding and spoken level of English, as communication is central to this care setting.
About the package:
This is currently a weekend-only role, however if things go well, the package is expected to extend into a full-time opportunity.
We are looking for carers who are:
Experienced in complex care or confident carers willing to learn
Patient, reliable, and person-centred
Strong communicators with good English skills
Calm, respectful, and consistent in approach
